I like the RV mounted tow bars. These are nice because they store on the RV when not in use so once you park your RV at your camping destination you would be able to fold the tow bar on your RV and drive off. Which would make parking your camper and using your toad to get around more convenient. For that I would recommend the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar part # RM-520.

Next, you will need a base plate kit for your 2009 Hyundai Elantra to provide the connection point from your vehicle to the tow bars. For that we have two options as long as your vehicle has a manual transmission. If you have a sedan you would want the Roadmaster EZ base plates part # 521624-1, if you have a touring hatchback you would want the Roadmaster EZ2 Base Plate kit part # 521627-1.

For safety cables I would recommend the Roadmaster Coiled Safety Cables part # RM-643. These can coil around the tow bar arms to keep them off the ground.

For lighting I like the 6 diode Tow Bar Wiring kit part # 154-792-118158. Once installed this unit will control the taillight functions of your Elantra so that they work in conjunction with your tow vehicle.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking in the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Even Brake proportional system, # RM-9400, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the two vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.

I have included a couple of helpful links to our articles on flat towing for you. Be sure to consult the vehicle owners manual for more specific information on flat towing the vehicle.
