Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport
Question:
Besides this trailer hitch what else will I need to tow a small utility trailer with my 2015 Outlander Sport? It has LED tail lights. Is that a problem?

In addition to the Curt trailer hitch you have selected for your 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport you will need a wiring harness, ball mount, ball, and a hitch pin with a clip.
For a trailer wiring harness I recommend # 118538. It does work with the LED lights on your Outlander Sport so that will not be a problem! I have included a link to a video review of this harness for you.
For a ball mount I recommend # C45030. For a 1-7/8 inch ball I recommend # 19260, for a 2 inch ball I recommend # 63845, and for a 2-5/16 inch I recommend # 63847. The size ball needed will depend on what the coupler on the trailer requires. And for a pin and clip you can use # PC3.
If the ball mount does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
