Can Larger Springs Be Used for Side of Trailer That Has a Slide Out

Question:

I Renton inquired about the trailer axle alignment system for a 2008 daydreamer 5th wheel by cedar creek. At first thought I thought about the alignment kit but have another question: my big kitchen slide is on the side where the tires are closest together, would it be possible to use springs for an 8k axle on that side only to help alleviate this misalignment problem? That slide has much more weight than the shorter, opposing side by far. We set up drag car leaves with extras, sometimes.

I definitely see where you're coming from, but we always recommend going with the same rating for leaf springs since springs with different ratings will have different wear and can alter the towing performance and tracking of your trailer.

So for misaligned tandem axles your best option is to use the Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR23QX.
