Replacement Solution for Fulton Swing Away A60 Drum Brake Actuator
Question:
My surge went out and it’s a Fulton 2003 trailer drum brakes. Or current has a swing tounge. I’m looking at the A60 inner member do you guys know if there’s an outter member that folds? Being I need to essentially change out my existing inner and outter member on my trailer. To retain swing and allow a more accessible actuator for purchase. Drum brakes boat trailer 2” ball.

For a replacement I recommend the Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator # DX27FR. The swing-away actuators like your old A60 have been discontinued, along with replacement parts, so this is the best solution. This features a 7,500 lb trailer capacity, bolt-on installation, and is designed for trailers with drum brakes.
To retain the folding tongue you can use the the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit for 3" x 4" Tongue # FHDPB340301 which fits 3" x 4" diameter tongues. This will allow you to replace the folding part of the tongue and add the new actuator.
I have attached some installation and review videos for your reference.
