Will Curt Trailer Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier Fit When Folded on 2008 GMC Envoy

I have a 2008 GMC Envoy. Will it clear the bumper when folded up?

Expert Reply:
To determine if the Curt trailer hitch mount cargo carrier # C18100 will clear the rear bumper on your 2008 GMC Envoy when the carrier is folded up you will need to take one important measurement. Measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on the vehicle straight back to the distance required to clear the rear bumper on the Envoy.
If that measurement is less than 5 inches then the carrier will clear the bumper when folded. I have included a link to a help article with tips on taking the measurement and a link to a video review of this carrier.
