Distance From Vehicle to Carrier Platform of the Curt Carrier # C18100

Question:

I have a 2006 Toyota Tundra. What is the distance from the truck to the front of the carrier. I have a dual purpose for the carrier. First, to transport cargo and second to use as a pet ramp system for entrance into the bed of the truck. What do you think?

When the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18100 is folded down there is a distance of 10-3/4 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the nearest edge of the carrier platform. To determine where that would be in relation to the truck bumper you would need to measure out 10-3/4 inches from the hitch pin hole and you would know where the platform would be.
