Combining Brake and Turn Signals on 1996 Safari Serengeti 5-Wire System
Question:
Sir, Im wiring a1996 Safari Serengeti which has a 5 wire system but need to convert to a 4 wire system. The brake light on motorhome is on separate wire from turn signals. Does e-trailer make an adapter or diode adapter to accomplish this transition?

This conversion is possible using the Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter # RM-732. On the converter on your motorhome side, the white wire is the ground, red is the brake, yellow is left turn, and green is right turn. On the output side for a trailer, assuming you're using a 4-way like # 18002, connect the yellow to yellow, green to green, white will be grounded, and the brown wire will connect to your motorhome running light circuit.
