Generator Needed To Power A Furrion 13,500 BTU RV Air Conditioner System

HI: HOW BIG OF A PORTABLE GENERATOR DO I NEED TO RUN YOUR 13.5 ROOF A/C. IAM THINKING OF PUTTING ONE ON A FOLD DOWN CAMPER. THANKS-

Since the The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System # FR52PR can pull approximately 3,500 watts for a brief second during start up, which would be right at 29.67 amps, the smallest sized generator you'd really need would be the etrailer 4,500-Watt Portable RV Generator # 333-0005. You could probably get a bit lower on the wattage but you'd also be maxing out the load of the generator and burn through fuel quicker so it wouldn't really be efficient.
The only option we currently offer with a lower wattage that's still high enough to power the AC unit is the A-iPower 3,800 Watt Generators # 289-SUA2000i-2, which is just two lower rated generators linked together. With the higher price point and ease of mobility with the # 333-0005, it's the clear choice for this setup.
