How Much Offset Does The Curt CrossWing Have From The Gooseneck Hitch Ball

Question:

On the Curt CrossWing it advertises a 9 inch offset on the C92DR. Your tech answered in the Q and A there is no offset on this hitch. Talking directly with Curt, the rep said the offset of 9 inches helps with turning on a shorter bed truck. Just FYI. I know it is 9 inches from gooseneck ball center but still provides set back? Thanks

Jameson's wording could've been better but what he meant was that there isn't any way to adjust the connection point of the Curt CrossWing Lightweight # C92DR since it only allows for you to raise of lower the hitch head. In the question he was asked the neighbor referred to the Andersen hitch and talked about moving it a specific way to allow for more turning clearance. The # C92DR can only be mounted one way and doesn't offer adjustability.

Per Curt's website, the CrossWing has 8.4" of offset from the hitch ball.
