Recommendation For Carrying Two 45LB Bikes With a 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz

Hi, I have a 2023 Hyundia Santa Cruz with factory Tonneau cover.I want to carry two e Mtb on top of Tonneau. their weight is 45 lbs ea. trailer. what you you recommend? Thank you

I reached out to a local Hyundai Dealer who informed me your factory Tonneau Cover is not capable of supporting any weight for additional accessories. This will leave you the option using a hitch mounted bike rack due to the weight of your bikes. Most rooftop carriers are only capable of supporting up to 44lbs.
A hitch mounted bike rack like the Kuat # BA22B is going to be the easiest to use. This will require a 2" receiver which the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C23WR will provide. I always recommend also installing a 4-Way # CU94FR when installing a receiver. This will allow you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if your bikes impair the view of your tail lights on your 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz.
