Is The Wiring on Forest River 3440BH Support Adding Trailer Connector For Lights On Boat Trailer?

I have a forest river sierra 3440BH. I would like to add a tail light socket to my bumper so I can pull my boat . Is existing wiring heavy enough or do I have to run wire all the way to the front?

If your Forest River Sierra 3440BH and boat trailer are using LED Tail lights and clearance lights you should not have any issues splicing into your tail light wiring with either a 4-Way # 18252 or 5-Way # HM47900 flat connector. There is a chance of overloading the wiring if you are using incandescent tail lights and clearance lights. With incandescent lights you would need to add all your wattages together for all the lights to determine if your tow vehicle is capable of providing enough power for all the lights. You will need to physically check the bulbs to determine their output as I have no way to see what lights are installed on your trailer.
