Will a Roadmaster Base Plate Kit Fit a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox Premier w/ Lower Shutters

We have a 2023 Equinox Premier. It has Aero shutters including a lower shutter assembly using GM part number as follows: gm-radiator-shutter-assembly-84614525 This is a smaller lower shutter that is different from the cold weatherfoot lower shutter which is much bigger. Looking at the 2023 installation video on your site, we believe we match that lower shutter. Can you please confirm that we can use the lower shutter indicated above with the Roadmaster baseplate?

Yes, the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523193-5 will work with your 2023 Chevrolet Equinox Premier. I was able to verify this with the manufacturer. It is important to note that the manufacturer states the lower shutters may need to be trimmed for a baseplate to be installed. If this is not something you are conformable with, I would recommend installation be performed by a qualified technician.
