Recommended Hitch for a 2023 Toyota RAV4

Good evening. What hitch do you recommend for a 2023 Rav4?

To add a hitch to your 2023 Toyota RAV4, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch item # C13416. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Toyota with included hardware. I really like this hitch because the crossbar is concealed behind the rear bumper and the 2" receiver is all that is visible.

This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 4,000 lbs towing capacity, and a 600 lbs maximum tongue weight. This hitch can be used with a weight distribution system but it will not increase the towing capacity.

If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56434 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.

I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 and the item # C42CR to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
