If your 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, 4-wheel drive, is standard height (not lifted or lowered either from the factory or aftermarket) and the distance from the outside of the frame to the inside of the tire is at least 7-1/2 inches, then you can use Firestone Ride-Rite kit # F2071.

Half ton trucks typically do not have overload springs but either kit listed above can be used with or without overloads.
