Recommended Kayak Carrier for Carrying 2 Kayaks On Exposed Racks Roof Rack for Jeep JK # ER94FR
Question:
Hello! I have two kayaks and an Exposed Racks ER94FR setup. I am looking for a clamp on kayak rack that can fit the square bars of the ER rack I believe they are 1.25. Either kayak Y cradle style mounts, or wider 60 load bars would work. Please advise on what some decent options might be. Thank you!

With the narrow width of the Exposed Racks Roof Rack for Jeep JK, I recommend using 2 sets of the etrailer Kayak Carrier # e98878. These are able to fit crossbars up to 3-1/8" wide and 1-1/2" tall, so you will not have any issues mounting to the 1-1/4" square crossbars on your rack. Each carrier includes straps along with tie-downs to properly secure the kayaks to the roof of your Jeep.
I do not recommend trying to attach longer load bars as this will push the weight out further on your sides and higher creating a less stable ride.
