Will The Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner Replace A Two-Unit Coleman Setup
Question:
Will this work replacing a Coleman, one of two, which are controlled by a wall thermostat? This is in a 2002 Fleetwood Discovery.

Yes, Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # FR42PV is designed to plug directly into the Coleman controller using the provided adapter. I have in the past run into some hardwired units though, so you'll want to do a bit of investigating to see how your current setup is. If you can get into the wiring for the rooftop units and trace it to the controller to see if the units have their own controllers and are plugged in with a 9-pin connector then we should be all good to go.
If the units are hardwired in then you'd be looking at replacing the entire system or getting the same model unit from Coleman for a direct swap.
