Can 215/60-8 Trailer Tires be Used in Place of 4.80-12 Trailer Tires
Question:
I currently have a 4 on 4 bolt pattern wheel for my aluminum boat trailer. I am looking for a lower profile wider wheel using in soft sand. I want to know if I can use the model # AM3H300 to replace the existing 4.8-12 wheel and tire. thanks

You might be able to go to a different tire and wheel size on your boat trailer if there is space available for the different size. For a 215/60-8 tire it will be 8.47 inches wide. This is 3.57 inches wider than your existing 4.80-12 tires so you have to make sure there is space on the trailer between the existing tire inner sidewall and the nearest part of the trailer.
Also the new tires will be 2.2 inches shorter.
If you take the measurements and everything is going to work out then you can use trailer tire and wheel combo # AM3H300.
