Winch Recommendation for a 2006 Dodge Ram and Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch
Question:
Ok ,you have convinced me on the Draw-Tite ,I measured the air dam and it extends 3 1/2 inches below the edge of the bottom of the bumper ,you said the hitch would extend 2 1/2 inches so I will have ample clearance . You may not be able to inform me on this ,but so you have any preference to a good winch ,besides Warn? Thanks

We carry Superwinch winches of various capacities. I have included a link to the available options for you. What really matters is what capacity you need. It is always better to go with an overrated winch rather than one that is rated just high enough. An overrated winch will not have to work as hard and the winch will last longer.
The Talon series are the top of the line models and the Tiger Shark series are more entry level. You can get a 11.5k capacity Tiger Shark, # SW1511200, at a good price whereas a Talon series winch # SW1614201 costs more than twice as much.
