Replacement Capture Plate For Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
I have an older Hijacker 18K Autoslider Fifth Wheel Hitch. Today I picked up my new Trailer and didn’t get the Capture Plates set correctly. When I unhitched it I saw where the plates had bent. My question is can I purchase new plates for the head I have. Or will I have to purchase a new improved head. My plates don’t mount the same way as the new ones. Thanks for any help you may can give. Alex

Unless you damaged the head somehow, you don't need to replace the head, just the capture plates, and the correct part number for that is the following:
- Replacement 5th Wheel Hitch Capture Plate Assembly - Qty 1 # DM14743-95
