I have a blue ox tow bar attached to my Motorhome Alegro RED and need to set up my newly purchased 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. What parts do I need?

To flat tow your 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon you'll need the following components:

Baseplate: Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU53FR. This baseplate is compatible with the factory bumpers that come with a Rubicon and would be compatible with your Blue Ox tow bar, without needing adapters.

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This wiring kit will splice into your factory tail light wiring and display your motorhome's traffic signals through the tail lights of your Gladiator.

Braking System: Since I don't know the exact model of your Allegro Red to confirm the braking type and fuel type I recommend the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700. This fixed system is compatible with both air and hydraulic brakes and doesn't activate off of the tail lights so it would be compatible with diesel pushers that have an engine brake. It's going to offer you proportional braking that's ready to go with no setup after the initial installation.

Since your brake light switch wire isn't usable you'll also need to install the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751497 in order to send the brake signal to the indicator light for the # RM-8700.

Safety Cables: If you don't already have safety cables with your tow bar then I recommend the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643. The coiled design will help keep them up off the road while towing.
