How To Determine Which Replacement Standard Hubs Will Fit Marine Master Trailer with Vault Hubs
Question:
I have a Phoenix Bass Boat with a Marine Master trailer. It comes from factory with Vault hubs. I am hearing horror stories about the hubs and bearings. Could you Supply me with your part numbers that I need to change over to regular bearing buddy grease hubs or even purchase a complete hub set up to just swap the entire thing out. It is a tandem trailer and i would need 4 of everything to make the transfer. Thanks in advance…..

I'd be happy to help, but I need to know the capacity of your axle, if you have brakes, and the bolt pattern.
The easiest way to get this information is on the axle tag which is located on the center of the axle beam, so sending me a picture of that would be the easiest for both of us.
If that tag is missing, then what you'll need to do is remove one of the hubs and using digital calipers # PTW80157 measure the spindle in the locations shown in the diagram below. Also while doing this count how many wheel studs are in the hub, (4, 5, 6, or 8).
Once I have this information I'd be happy to find replacements for you.
