Recommended Air Bags For a 2008 Ford F-250 with a Gooseneck Hitch in the Bed

Question:

I have a 2008 F250 Super Duty with a Gooseneck BandW hitch and the truck has I think a 6” lift. I need a bag kit that will fit with minimal fabrication if any. And do you offer a 7k lb bag? Please help, I really need to get this done and don’t want to order something that is wrong. Thank you!

We do not have a 7,000lb. option for your 2008 Ford F-250, the highest that we have is 5,000 lbs.

- Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88397 (2-Wheel Drive)
- Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88398 (4-Wheel Drive)

These air bags give you the best of both worlds. You get the adjustability of air bags and the reliability of jounce springs because of the built-in jounce springs. These systems are also compatible with in-bed hitches and require minimal fabrication. No drilling required for installation.

If your lift is a body lift then you are good to install the air bags. If you have a suspension lift, you will need to use a spacer kit, which installs between the air bag and the mounting bracket.

- Air Lift Universal Air Spring Spacers # AL52440 (4")
- Air Lift Universal Air Spring Spacers # AL52460 (6")

I would also recommend adding a compressor system like the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System # AL25592. This will allow you to monitor and adjust the air bags from the cab of your truck.
