Replacement Hub for Old Boat Trailer with 07100 Bearing

Question:

I have a 4 lug hub that is one inch in diameter and four inches long. The bearings number is 07100 made by Timken. I bought a new hub at dealership but spindle is too short to tighten nut. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The 07100 bearing number you referenced is an older bearing that has the same dimensions as # L44643.

If both the inner and outer bearings on your existing trailer are the 07100/ # L44643, and the hub has a 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern, the correct replacement hub will be the etrailer.com # AKIHUB-440-2-1K. This hub assembly is designed for 2,000 pound axles and will fit wheel sizes of 8 inches to 12 inches. The bearings, races and seal are all included.

I have attached a short video review on this hub for you to check out.
