I want to buy a trailer winch. Because I will use it to raise and lower the metal centerboard on my sailboat, it has to have a short handle, 6 inches or less. Can you recommend a product?

The Fulton F2 Fully Enclosed Trailer Winch # FW16000101 has our shortest handle. This handle has 2 holes which allow you to place it at either a 6" or 7" length. The winch is rated for 1,600lbs and includes a 20' long strap.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
