Recommended Steps For The Rear Door Of An Econoline Passenger Bus

Question:

I am looking for stairs for the back door of my mobile boutique. It is a converted enconline passenger bus. I need stairs that we can easily put down for events that are safe enough for customers to use. Please advise!

Since most of the Econoline buses have a rear bumper a fold down step like the # LC791575 you were looking at isn't going to clear it so you'd have to look at a scissor-style step to help put you far enough out to clear the bumper. An option like the TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear # TLA7834 would give you something that could be mounted to the outside to provide enough clearance and also has adjustable landing gear feet to give you a firm, supported step.

Before we can pick out the correct one we'll need to know the entry height for your bus's rear door so that you can choose the correct size for the a natural rise up the steps and into the bus. If you could provide me with the height from the ground to the bottom of the door threshold I'd be happy to find all the possible options for you.
