To find the correct tie-down straps you'll need to know the dry weight of the trailer and choose one with a break-strength than the trailer weighs. The thought process is reversed for this and you're essentially trying to strap the trailer to boat, which is typically going to weigh more than the trailer.
With the boat being around 3,650lbs dry I'm assuming your trailer probably falls around 2,000lbs so you would need straps like the BoatBuckle G2 Retractable, Ratcheting Gunwale Tie-Down Straps # IMF14221 for the bow and # IMF08893 for the stern. I've attached a couple of videos below that will show you how to install and use these tie down straps to secure your Chaparral 220.
