Determining The Correct Converter Charger For A 2014 Itasca Suncruiser Motorhome
Question:
I have a 2014 Itasca Suncruiser 32H with 2 12V 100AH NAPA lead acid batteries. Will my Intelli-power PD9245C converter successfully charge 2 12V VMax 135AH AGM batteries?

When it comes to choosing the correct size converter charger you'll simply need 10% of the total amp hour rating of your battery bank up to the max amperage that the battery can handle, which is typically listed on the battery. In your case your battery bank is 270 amp hours (if wired in parallel) so you would need a minimum 27 amp charger.
The Progressive Dynamics # PD9245C has a 45 amp rating so it would be sufficient. If you wanted to go with a higher amperage charger to recharge your batteries at a faster rate then you would just want to check the sticker to see the max amperage the batteries can handle. If you can get me that number I'd be happy to help you find a higher rated converter, if that's what you'd prefer.
