Can I retro fit my current Solera idler head Non slip ring version using this part, or would I have to buy the whole new head? LC334785

You would not be able to use just the Slip Ring # LC330961 to retrofit your current idler head to LEDs, you would need to use the Solera Power Awning Idler Head w/ LED Upgrade - Black # LC334785.

We actually do carry the Replacement Slip Ring Assembly #LC330961 that I believe you are talking about. If you are just wanting to replace the entire idler head then you can do so with part #LC334785 which is in the color black.

I contacted Lippert to ensure the correct item, thanks for attaching the image of the tag on your specific awning. We now have the Vista Light LED Kit for Solera RV Awning, #LC24PJ, available that is a direct replacement to your component.

The awning light strips we carry are designed to fit into slots that are on the fabric rollers of the awning. But we do have awnings that attach to the RV with adhesive like with the part #LC24PJ.
