Can Progressive Dynamics Converter # PD9160ALV Bring Back Totally Dead Battery
Question:
Is the PD9160ALV converter capable of waking upinch lifepo4 batteries for charging that have been totally discharged? That is, the battery was discharged enough for its BMS to shut it down. Thank you.

The Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger # PD9160ALV is a 60 amp charger so it would do a great job bringing a totally discharged battery back to life. One trick I have found that works really well is if a charger isn't wanting to work well due to battery being in such poor health is to run jumper cables between a good battery and the depleted one and then connect charger to depleted battery as well. I've brought back a few totally dead batteries this way.
