SumoSprings or Timbren Springs For a 2016 Toyota Tundra For Hauling Occasional Loads
Question:
Hello, I own a 2016 Toyota Tundra SR5 4x4 Crewmax. Approximately 5-7 times per year I haul a ton of wood pellets about 12 miles. I also have a small camper with a dry weight of 2530lbs and a hitch weight of 210lbs. Im considering something like Sumo Springs or Timbrens to help with the pellet hauling, Id rather not use airbags. What do you suggest? Thanks

I recommend using the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-610-47 on our 2016 Toyota Tundra. As you will only be hauling the additional weight a few times a year for a short distance this will provide you with the best ride quality when you are using your truck as a daily driver.
The Timbren Springs # TABSOSR will create a stiffer ride both while hauling additional loads and while daily driving. I only recommend these types of springs for vehicles who will see additional weight most of the year and are hauling long distances.
