How To Gain Clearance To Open Up Tailgate Using Equal-i-zer Hitch On A 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500

I am looking to purchase this Equalizer hitch EQ37101ET and would like a shank that is 2-1/2 x 14 min length so I can open my tailgate when the camper is hooked on. I have a 2 shank now, but I want to get away from the adapter. Do you offer such a shank?

Though we have a close option, we will not have a 2-1/2 inch by14 inch minimum shank that will work with the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution # EQ37101ET. We will not offer a 14 inch shank for a 2-1/2 inch hitch. You will have to stick with your adapter and use the Curt Weight Distribution Shank # C17122. This shank measures 14 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the adjustment holes and will be compatible with the Equal-i-zer system. This shank will provide you with the clearance to open up your tailgate.
