For a trailer with a 7,400 lbs gross towing weight, I recommend the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control item # BXW1006. Tongue weight is typically 10% - 15% of your trailer's total weight. This system has a tongue weight range of 750 lbs - 1,000 lbs which will be perfect for your trailer.

The SwayPro has built in sway control that uses trunnion bars to keep your trailer in line with your truck. This system includes a 2" shank that has up to a 13" rise and a 7" drop.
