You may consider also installing the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT with the receiver so you can use Auxiliary Lights # C53201. These lights are needed if you are using a hitch mounted accessory which impairs the view of the tail lights on your BMW.
