Does this water heater run randomly if hot water is NOT in use??

The Excel RV Tankless Water Heater # EX93FR monitors water pressure to determine when it turns on. If it senses a change in the water pressure of 2psi it will begin to heat water. Depending on where you are located I know some campgrounds will experience a large pressure drop when multiple users are using the water. Since your heater senses pressure drop that would confuse this water heater.
