Weight Distribution for 2007 Dodge Ram Towing Trailer with 238 Pound Tongue Weight

I have a guy who has a 2007 Dodge 1500 quad cab V8 his trailer GVWR 4373 LBS hitch weight is 238LBS what would be the best setup for him P.S His trailer length is 20`3``.Thank you

The trailer does not have much tongue weight, does it? We typically figure the tongue weight as being between 10 and 15 percent of the trailer weight.
For a trailer with a tongue weight of around 250 pounds such as the one you mention, I would recommend going with the Reese High Performance Trunnion System, part # RP66020. This system is designed for trailers with tongue weights ranging from 200 to 600 lbs.
This system is offered in conjunction with our Dual Cam Sway Control System, if trailer sway is a concern. This system is part # RP66072. The Dual Cam System is the top of the line in sway control, and will actually prevent trailer sway before it can occur.
