Recommended RoadActive Suspension Kit For a 2023 Nissan Titan XD For 5TH Wheel Towing

Question:

I have a stock 2023 Nissan Titan XD Pro4X and plan to tow a 32’ 5th wheel with an approximate pin weight of 1300 lbs. and a GVWR of 9995 lbs. Should I install the the standard RAS3611 kit or the HD version and will either be detrimental to my current ride quality? Even though my 2023 Titan is yet to be listed as compatible with the 3611 kit I have compared it with a 2021 model and am fairly confident they are the same and the 3611 kit will work.

Helpful Expert Reply:

I recommend going with the standard RoadActive Suspension # RAS3611 on your 2023 Nissan Titan XD. This system is rated for up to 2,000lbs capacity which far exceeds the 1,300lbs from your 5th wheel. The HD Kit # RAS3611-HD being rated for 3,000lb capacity is more than you will need and will lead to a slightly stiffer ride. I only recommend the HD kit is situations where you are always towing or hauling additional weight in the bed. We do show both these kits as compatible with your 2023 model year.
