Does the hitch move while backing up also?

The only way the Demco Autoslide Hijacker part # DM29GV will slide back is when the trailer turns relative to the truck it's installed in. This would be the same when travelling forward and when travelling in reverse. Basically as the head of the hitch turns it slides back further and further as the head angle gets tighter. This is the same when going forward and reverse.
