Do I Need Spacers With the Timbren # T76FR Jounce Springs On a 2022 Jeep Gladiator?
Question:
Have a 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. Will I need any of the 1inch spacers? There is ~7 1/4inch between the top of the cup that holds the stock jounce bumper and the flat pad on the axle housing where the jounce bumper makes contact.

I reached out to Timbren as I do not have one of the Timbren Springs # T76FR in my warehouse to physically measure. They informed me you will need to measure from the bottom of the cup on your 2022 Jeep Gladiator. The portion that fits inside the cup will hang down 3/16" while the spring is 3-3/4". This will place the bottom of the spring 3-15/16" below the cup. The kit does include a 1/2" spacer which will lower it to 4-7/16" below the cup. Timbren recommends 1/2" to 1-1/2" gap between the bottom of the spring and the jounce pad when installed to ensure ride quality is not diminished when unloaded. That will give you a measurement range of 4-15/16" to 5-15/16" it will fit with the included 1/2" spacer.
We do have additional 1/2" Spacers # TA25722-90P00 and 1" Spacers # A25723-90AH00 if they are needed to achieve the desired height for the Timbren spring. Do note the kit only includes a 3-1/2" and 4" long grade 5, 3/8" bolt so you may need to source a longer bolt locally to fit with additional spacers.
