How to Strengthen Rear Tailgate Door on 2006 Jeep Wrangler for Larger Spare Tire

I'm bumping up the tire size for my 2006 Jeep Wrangler and I plan on carrying the larger spare on my back door. I'm a little concerned that the door isn't up to the task since the vehicle is older and I was wondering if you guys had anything to help out with this. I'm seeing some stuff of Morryde that looks promising but not sure what you have.

Thanks for reaching out! We definitely have some parts to reinforce the back door on your 2006 Jeep Wrangler so you can safely secure your spare tire.

What you're needing is the MORryde Tailgate Support Frame # MR43QR along with the MORryde Heavy Duty Tailgate Hinges # MR78MR. These are pretty simple applications but will definitely help with the modifications you've done to your Wrangler so you can safely go off-roading!

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
