Parts Needed to Flat Tow 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 With Falcon 2 Tow Bar & BrakeMaster

Question:

Previously I was flat towing a 2019 Jeep JL with a 2019 Tiffin Phaeton diesel pusher and want to now tow a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 . I have a Road Master Falcon #520 tow bar with the RM-035-1 jeep D-ring adapters. What part numbers are needed base plate / adapter to attach this tow bar to the 2011 Chevy truck? Will the Road Master/Brake Master, W/ Break away RM-9160 work with this vehicle? Is a Pedal Adjustment kit like the RM-751200 needed? Will the Road Master 6 Diode Wire kit 154-792-118158 work with this vehicle? Is there any other part needed for this install ? Thanks

You can flat tow your 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 with your tow bar. To answer your questions specifically, there are compatible base plates from Roadmaster, the the BrakeMaster will work, a pedal adjustment kit is needed, and the wiring kit you mentioned will not work because you have combined wiring and not separate. I'll go ahead and list out exactly what you'll need for your '11 Silverado 1500 with the Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520.

- Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # 3154-3

- RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643

- Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154

- Roadmaster BrakeMaster System w/ BrakeAway for RVs w Air or Air Over Hydraulic Brakes # RM-9160

- RoadMaster BrakeMaster Custom Seat Adapter # RM-88158

- WITHOUT Adjustable Pedals: Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751421
or
- WITH Adjustable Pedals: Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751220
