Will Curt Front Hitch for 2013 GMC Yukon Work for Winching Out of Mud

Question:

Wanted to confirm the Curt hitch mount is sufficient to handle winching a 2013 Yukon SLE from mud with a 10k+ winch and snatch block with the cable looped back to the recovery point at the front? In addition, can the Curt front hitch mount be used with bull bars/grill guard, I saw another answer that indicated the draw-tite cant be. Thanks!

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C31012 which is a fit for a 2013 GMC Yukon has a max line pull rating of 9,000 lbs which is over 1.5x the vehicle's weight so it will work well for vehicle recovery when stuck whether that be snow or mud. In order to mount a winch you'll need a hitch mounted which tray for which I recommend the Superwinch Hitch Mounted Winch Mounting Plate with Handles part # SW2050. This will then pair well with a winch like the Superwinch Tiger Shark Off-Road Winch part # SW1595201.

In regards to bull bar/grille guard compatibility, this will be figured on a case by case basis but the majority won't. It all depends on where one mounts in relation to the other.
