Are Spacers Needed For Timbren Suspension Enhancement on 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon
Question:
I had Timbrens on my Tundra and liked them. Just picked up the power wagon today and put 35" tires on it on the way home from the dealership. Need to order a new hitch receiver(2 1/2") with a larger drop since the truck sits up a bit higher than my Tundra did. I see you have Timbrens, do you have their spacers since the gap from my frame to axle is about 7" space.. I would like to get everything from you guys, not sure if I can sell my wife on the Firestone air ride cost for the back... Thanks

If you're saying the space where the Timbren would install is 7" you wouldn't need a spacer. About an inch gap is what is recommended, and the Timbren # TDR2500D for your truck measures 5-3/4" in overall height. A 1" spacer is included which would make it 6-3/4".
We do have the spacers though, the # TA25722-90P00 is the 1/2" and the # A25723-90AH00 is the 1". I would go ahead and measure to be sure. If it is 7" you could leave the spacer off or if you want them to engage sooner add a 1/2" spacer. I wouldn't use the 1" spacer since that would only leave 1/4" gap and probably result in a rough ride.
