Height of Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System for a 2013 Ford F-250

Question:

I have a 2013 Ford F-250 Super Duty 4X4 with the 6.2 L gas engine. I would like to install the Timbren springs but I am concerned about having enough clearance between the frame and bump stop support. This distance is 7.5 inches unloaded. One previously submitted Q and A states the overall length of spring and bracket is 6.5 inches. Yet on the product description it mentions that the bracket is 3 inches and the spring is 4.5 inches. I would want my unloaded ride quality to not be affected with these installed. I tow a 30 ft. travel trailer that weighs approximately 8000 lbs. with an E-Qual-izer weight distribution hitch, I also carry some items in the bed which weigh about 300 lbs. Can you please advise on the correct overall installed length of this Timbren kit. Thank You.

The correct Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System for a 2013 Ford F-250 is part # TFR250SDG. The overall height of the assembly is 6-1/2" per Timbren. The 1" of space you have between the frame and bump stop should not altered the unloaded ride quality. They typically design these kits so that there is around 1" - 1-1/2" between the frame and bump stop so this kit is right on par with that.
