What Causes E/CN Error on Command F3 Air Compressor System
Question:
How do I do an ignition bypass?

In regards to the Firestone Air Command F3 Air Compressor System, the "E/CN" error means that the remote is not communicating with the control module. This can be caused by a few different things such as signal interference or no power to the control module. I would first start by using the remote directly by the control module to rule out signal interference. If the error still occurs verify that you have power to the compressor, if there is power then the compressor should kick on each time you get into the vehicle and start it or wake the system up with the remote depending on how it's wired. If there is no power then the you might want to start looking over the wires and fuses. If you do have power and there is still an error message you may need to replace the unit due to faulty components for which I recommend the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs part # AL25980EZ which is much less error prone from our experience.
The ignition bypass you're referring to just allows you to wake the system up when you start the vehicle as opposed to when you use the controller and won't have an effect on the error above.
