Troubleshooting a Furrion Tankless Water That Has Low Pressure At The Shower Head

Question:

Ive replaced my shower faucet twice as well as the wand. Last year I installed your Furion on-demand water heater. I get good hot water to the kitchen and bathroom sink but not to the shower the pressure just isnt very good, unlike the bathroom and kitchen sink. My concern is that the low pressure in the shower isnt allowing the hot water tank to function properly. So, as you can see, Im considering yet another faucet replacement in hopes of more pressure. Any thoughts? The faucet is part #EM27HR. I live in a Keystone Montana 3000RK, 2011. There just doesnt seem to be many choices on the faucet replacement and I dont understand whats inhibiting the water flow. And taking a lukewarm shower isnt cutting it. HELP!

I went ahead and consulted the owner's manual for your Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot # FR68SR, and this symptom is correlating with there could be lime scale forming due to precipitation of hard water.

To fix this, Furrion recommends that you decalcify your water heater. You're also going to want to ensure that your water heater is producing the minimum water flow of 0.32 gallons per minute.

If it's not, what you can try and do is if your unit is equipped with a water flow valve, you can try cranking it all the way to maximum for the maximum water flow and check to see if the problem continues.

If your unit does not have a water flow valve, you can add one with the:

-Valterra Adjustable Water Regulator for RVs # A01-1117VP.

If you're still having issues feel free to come back and we can continue to troubleshoot.
