Recommendations to Improve Handling and Stability of 2015 Thor ACE 30.1

Question:

I have a 2015 Thor ACE 30.1 M/H on a 2014 Ford F53 chassis. I need to discuss suspension and handling issues. The front end seems to wander a lot and gets fatiguing after 2-3 hours. Just had new tires TOYO and an alignment and it helped a little. Need to do a CAT scale weigh and adjust tire pressures from that. Currently all stock except the RM-RBK22-RSSA Stabilizer. My thoughts are Front Sumo springs, Roadmaster Sway bars Front and Rear. Any advice is appreciated. Tks,

You are the right track to improve the handling of your 2015 Thor ACE 30.1 motorhome that is built on a Ford F-53 chassis. The biggest improvement you'll make is with a rear sway bar which for that you'd want the part # RM-1139-146. For motorhomes on the F-53 chassis there is no bigger improvement that you can make then an upgraded rear bar to improve stability and driveability.

A front sway bar like the # RM-1139-148 will make the next biggest improvement. Normally with just the two sway bars the improvement is night and day. You already have the Roadmaster Reflex # RM-RBK22-RSSA so with all of that you should be in a really good position. I would try the sway bars for now and then if you want more you could try some SumoSprings but I am confident with just the bars in addition to what you have now you'll be really happy. The correct rear SumoSprings kit you'd need is the part # SSR-187-40-1 though.
