I recommend using the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e25TR on your 2023 Subaru Outback. This receiver has a matte black finish and hidden cross tube providing for what I feel is the best looking receiver.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118467 will connect to the factory connector in the back of your Subaru. If you opt to run the wiring down to the receiver rather than out the rear hatch you can secure it using the Mounting Bracket # 18144.
