12 Volt Accessory Outlet Needed to Power the Roadmaster Even Brake on a 2013 Honda CR-V

Question:

I made a off on switch to use to from keeping always pulling 7.5a fuse to turn off acc. so I can tow.But when I do it kills the power to the #27 fuse for the Fr. acc. socket. I want to use this outlet to power the evenbrake, what do I need to get power to the evenbrake

I recommend installing a separate 12 volt accessory outlet. For this, you can use the Roadmaster 12 Volt Outlet Kit, # RM-9332. This kit works great for vehicles that require fuses to be pulled. The 5ft cord should provide plenty of length to route the outlet into the cab of the vehicle. The outlet can be connected directly to the vehicle battery or to a powered fuse using a fuse tap.

Question for this 12v outlet kit and/or aux brake break-away cable wiring. Have you found a specific location/hole through the firewall of a 2020 (or 2018-19) Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited to run these wires? I did see the video for the 2017 JK Jeep, but was wondering if you had a specific spot to run them through the 2020 firewall. Thanks.

When we installed the 12V Outlet Kit # RM-9332 on the 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler we utilized a plastic plug that's higher up on the left side of the firewall. Check out the install video I linked below.
