To replace your Atwood GC6AA-10E water heater I recommend the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR48SR. This unit is tankless and widely surpasses the performance of the other water heaters we currently carry. This unit is powered by gas but does require electric for the controls. The other models we carry, like the # DMC74FR have electric assistance for heating but can't solely run off of electric.

The on-demand hot water and ability to set the temperature to a specific degree instead of the old fashioned arrow knob will make camping much more enjoyable.

The # FR48SR has the following requirements to properly operate:

12VDC Power Input.

7.2-65PSI water Pressure (40-50PSI recommended). I recommend using a water pressure regulator like # CAM40064 to ensure proper water pressure.

11" WC - 14" WC (13" WC recommended). I recommend having a licensed technician check your pressure and adjust your regulator accordingly to ensure proper gas pressure.

I also recommend picking up some butyl tape # AL28FJ and non-sag sealant # AL28KV to use along the mounting flange to form a proper watertight seal.
