Replacement Hub and Drum Assembly For Axletek BD-865-37 Trailer Hub
Question:
I am looking for a replacement brake drum for an axletek BD-865-37. Do you have this hub or an identical replacement hub? The outer bearing is VNC 14125A and the race is 14276. Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-865-7-1-EZ-K matches the specs for your Axletek BD-865-37 hub. This hub has an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern with 9/16" lug nuts and studs. It uses the Inner Bearing # 25580 and Outer Bearing # 14125A with a 2.25" inner diameter Grease Seal # GS-2250DL.
If you are also needing brake assemblies, I recommend the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-464-465. These are self adjusting brakes that will ensure you have a more consistent brake feel throughout the life of the pads. And since they automatically adjust the pad life will be extended thanks to having a more even wear across all the brakes.
